70 years of Vietnam Diplomacy

Vietnam, throughout the last 70 years of shaping and developing, from a small colony in Southeast Asia and unknown to the world, currently, she has established relations with all countries in the United Nations, and especially has strategic partnership relations or comprehensive partnership relations with 5 major powers in United Nations Security Council. It is the result of Ho Chi Minh diplomacy, which Ho Chi Minh himself directly led in the first phase (1945-1946).

On 70-year anniversary of the August Revolution, National Independence Day 2nd September and also marking the seven decades of Vietnam diplomacy, Vietnam Weekly (Online newspaper Vietnamnet.vn), in the 26 and 27 August editions, has interviewed Ambassador Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Truong, who is now president of the Center for Strategic Studies and International Development (CSSD), about some diplomatic issues of Vietnam.
